ShadowGrove is a community based upon a philosophical Mystery tradition that is compatible with and works to enhance the individually-unique spiritual journeys of our members. We offer classes for learning, journey work to seek understanding, ritual for connection, experience to encourage growth, challenge to foster achievement, and community for those who wish to find kin who are not of blood but of spirit.

ShadowGrove is a community of spirit that we created at our home in Manassas in 2004. In the many years since, it has evolved and shifted from being a loose gathering of eclectics, each following his/her own path and gathering together primarily for social reasons, into a much deeper community who follow a dedicated mystery Tradition. As a result, regular participation in ShadowGrove activities at our new home in Stafford is for people who have chosen to dedicate themselves to the ShadowGrove Tradition.
We would never ask anyone to step into a Tradition that they know nothing about, and so it's necessary for people who are not already of our Tradition to have the opportunity to experience the beginnings of it, and to get to know us, and our community, and our sacred space, so that they can evaluate for themselves whether or not the Tradition is for them, and whether the community of people is one they wish to be a part of. Additionally, there is much that we have to offer the broader community that is not specific to the Tradition itself. That is why we have created the Wilder Grove; it is a place where people can come and experience the place and the community and some of our basic teachings, with no commitments, to decide whether proceeding deeper into the Tradition is something they wish to explore.
We invite you to explore the various events, classes, and activities that we offer through the Wilder Grove, and if you find that those things speak to you and you wish to consider joining the ShadowGrove Tradition and continuing with deeper working, we would be happy to speak with you about that later on.
