[Crimsonfaerierose]

 On Dec 16th a non profit organization opened a park in cottonwood, AZ to the public featuring a 39 ft statue dedicated to Gaia/mother earth. Some local protesters are trying to get the statue removed so please go to this site www.magoearthpark.org and sign the petition to keep her standing where she belongs. The park is very interesting and unique and could be a making in our history. Please give your voice and get others to sign the petition that will be brought before the city council that will decide her fate.

I don't usually sign this, but as I said in my comment on the petition, both the statue and what it represents are beautiful and worthwhile things. The only reason anyone could have for removing it is good old-fashioned intolerance.
